THE CHOIRS
SANCTUARY CHOIR

The Sanctuary Choir
leads the 11:00 AM service weekly and the
8:30 AM service
on festival and communion Sundays. The choir presents
a service of Lessons & Carols
during Advent and performs a major work during Lent. The Sanctuary
Choir is

During the summer months, the summer choir rehearses one-half hour prior
to Sunday morning worship to prepare an easy hymn anthem for the
service. Regular choir members and others who love to sing are
invited to participate. Please check our online calendar for the
summer choir worship schedule.
Instrumental and
Vocal Ensembles

Instrumentalists and small vocal ensembles present music during the
offering at the 8:30 worship service.
Young people and adults interested in this musical opportunity
should contact the Music Director, Melvin Goodwyn.
MEN’S ENSEMBLE

The Men’s Ensemble
is open to any male in the congregation who enjoys singing. The
ensemble prepares anthems and sings periodically at either the 8:30
or 11 AM service.
HANDBELL CHOIRS

With
tremendous coordination and dedication, the handbell
choirs participate regularly in worship and special services from
September through June.
Festival Ringers (for Adults)
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:30-7:15 PM, Main Bldg., Choir Room (Room 14)
Festival Ringers is for anyone high school age or older.
Handbells at Wednesday Club (for Grades 4-6)
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 5:30-6:00 PM, Christian Education Bldg.
TEEN CHOIR

10:30-10:55 AM for grades 7-12, CE Bldg., Room 207
The Teen Choir rehearses
on Sundays from September through May, and sings periodically during worship services. They
occasionally participate in
the youth musical in the spring.
YOUTH CHOIR

3-6,
CE Bldg., Catlin Chapel
The Youth Choir
rehearses on Sundays from September through May, sings for worship monthly, and
occasionally performs a
contemporary musical each spring.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR

preschool children, starting at age 3, through grade 2,

The Children’s Choir
rehearses on Sundays from September through May, and sings during the worship service once a month.
IMPROMPTU SYMPHONY

On special occasions, several instrumentalists gather to rehearse
and play for worship.
Rehearsals are announced in advance. People of all ages and
abilities are welcome.
