Though we come from different
backgrounds and are at different stages of our faith journey, the
people of the BHPC congregation acknowledge God as our Creator and
Jesus Christ as God incarnate, our Lord and the way to salvation.
Aspiring to grow in the faith that sustains us and to reflect Jesus’
love and compassion, we commit to serve Him by:

Celebrating the good news of God’s love through joyful and
inspirational services of worship.

Increasing our understanding of the will of God through study of
Scripture and its application to our daily lives.

Nurturing warm, caring bonds of Christian fellowship through
special events, formal and informal gatherings, and service projects.

Providing a compassionate ministry for people in the
congregation who are experiencing emotional, spiritual, and physical
challenges.

Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people in our
community and welcoming them into the inclusive fellowship of the
Body of Christ.

Responding to the needs of all people in our community through
various ministries of compassion.

Being a force for good in the world through church-wide mission
proclaiming the Gospel of love, mercy, justice, righteousness, and
steadfast faith.
The officers and members of BHPC hope and pray that God, through
the Holy Spirit, may continually guide us as we commit the gifts,
talents, and resources we are blessed to have to fulfilling our
Christian mission.
